So far, this is my favorite of the bunch - I particularly enjoyed its most recent episode with Kara Swisher on how discourse about the war is playing out on TikTok. It is hosted by Keshet 12 news anchor Yonit Levi and The Guardian columnist Jonathan Freedland. Download Notion 0.6.200 APK - Notion is an Android application for people that want to take notes, manage daily tasks, and access wikis all in the s. Unholy: Two Jews on the News, per Sandra Shmueli, development editor at The Economist. Unsettled - which is sponsored by the Institute for Nonprofit News and was started by activists involved in IfNotNow - regularly features accounts from Palestinians and published an episode last week about the escalating violence in the West Bank since the war started. On the Nose is from progressive outlet Jewish Currents and has been covering anti-war activism on the left in Israel and the US. On the Nose and Unsettled are recommended by audio producer Sam J.In the weeks since the war began, Israel Story has published two dozen accounts from Israelis about how the conflict has touched their lives. Swipe through the widget options, tapping Add Widget when you have selected the widget you would like to add. From the widgets menu, tap the top search bar to find and select Notion from the list. In the top right corner of your screen, tap the + button. You might remember Israel Story - which is basically the Israeli This American Life - when it was featured on Radiolab in 2015. On your iPhone home screen, long press on any app icon and then select Edit home screen. Israel Story, as recommended by Podglomerate CEO Jeff Umbro. It’s a go-to pick for a reason: Klein has dedicated several episodes of his show to exploring the conflict from different perspectives, including one standout episode in which he talks to pollster Amaney Jamal, who ran a public opinion survey in Gaza in the week leading up to the attack. The Ezra Klein Show, per Think Again host Jason Gots (and staffers at Vox, and various members of my family). But these items were all deal breakers for me on one level or other. Who knows one or the other got much better and the whole game has changed. I have this list somewhere as a checklist to verify any improvements in Notion in about 6 months or so, and then I will re-evaluate if I want to migrate out of Evernote. Just to make people aware of the state of the app. Notion App Android Widgets for mobile are FINALLY HERE. They are a small team, they seem to acknowledge availability and stability are important and they might have become a victim of their own success (recently read about their openness of shifting to maintenance mode for a while). They promised they will work on a better experience, but like I said, it has been like this for over a year. Multi-line select of text is only possible when locking the page.Embedded links to unknown media inside notion gives a crude nasty long AWS url.Full screen preview of pictures is useless as it stays the same size and does not zoom/ scale.Downloading information fails sometimes.Sharing to Notion is flakey leaves empty pages or some apps will just not be able to share (app not supported), like sharing a picture from chrome to Notion gives you a nice empty page, sharing it from the Gallery app will work.Time-outs on queries where pages or databases are just left empty, scares the cr p out of you when there should be hundreds of items to show (usually just a timeout). No true offline experience making it hard to be in the flow or request information if Internet / mobile data is low or unavailable.Using back button on phone sometimes closes Notion and sometimes goes to the previous page.Gallery view resetting to top of view (annoying when you are browsing through items) upon going back.App freezing half the time during loading.Long loading times when opening the first time (~10 seconds).Still love notion so I will write down my experience with the android app I had It stings when I want to show my brother an item on my wishlist (in notion) and I can't even get a single picture to load on my phone when I need it, that was the straw that broke the camel's back and I switched back to Evernote for now. For starters, the app's interface is responsiveand you shouldn't need to deal with app crashes or other annoyances. I could not fit Notion in my workflow as I rely on information being available when I need it, where I need it, and mostly that is on a mobile device. Regardless of whether you're looking to become a professional writer, or you just want to share more of your ideas with others, Notion is a great place to write blog posts.
